Short memory or what?

The following has been inspired after a series of events taking the credit for being the first to discover the water tower as an art and culture destination by a journalist in Sofia! disregarding the previous efforts of NGO IME in the sphere ever since 2006( see the links on the left)

I don't know if I am to refer to it as to a short memory of the general public and media and most of all institutions or a pure ignorance towards the efforts of other people!

I am not eager for media attention , but i think that one should stand for their own rights and defend it with all means!

The general disregard for everything and most of all the institutional (those of NGO's) efforts in the sphere of culture in Bulgaria is notorious and i dare that to be changed with our next event to take place in Sofia , Bankya, lovech and other cities in Bulgaria as an art form of free expression and mere communication between people no matter if they are artists, journalists or just a citizens and villagers! We all have the right to stand up for rights as for human and citizen rights in a society even if it has to be in front of only close friends , family or neighbors! I disregard the ignorance and stand for my right hereby! And more: i am writing this in English hence i did understand not a long ago that most of the people that actually hear me - speak English or any language other than Bulgarian!

12 Friday June –

(10:00 am)Cleaning of the area around the Water Tower with the help of students and school children and citizens of the area and ecologists from rayon Lozenez;

(18:30pm)Opening of the exhibitions at the Teahouse, presenting artist from UK and BG, musical concert at the Teahouse (tbc)

 13 Saturday/06 –

(13:00) pm, Daily Workshops: restoration and decoration of old furniture; baking bread - “Slunze –Luna”; trash art; car boot sale (flee market and old furniture selling) and selling of home baked cakes and juices-by volunteers

 13 Saturday/06 –

(20:30pm) Evening main program- video and installation art opening, presentation of artists in the program – (opened every day from 13th to (19th ?)06-from 17:00 to 23:00)

(22:00) Projection of experimental and video films in the Water tower garden- open air cinema – Cocktail provided by the sponsors - Domaine Boyar

 13/06 – (00:00am)musical workshop with author digital music, artmospheric.org

 14 Sunday /06 – (13:00pm)Daily program - workshops , car boot sale

 14 Sunday /06 – (20:30pm)Evening program - Seminar on experimental film and video
